The inaugural AiDecentralized Summit was held in Toronto in May of 2018. The conference was an ACM Global initiative to bring together AI practitioners and cryptographers. The ACM is the Association for Computing Machinery, the world's largest educational and scientific computing society.
At the event, Toufi Saliba of Toda.Network and Ben Goertzel of SingularityNET announced the formation of a new organization called DAIA: The Decentralized AI Alliance.
